Some music exists to remind us what we’re capable of. Mozart’s Divertimento treats three instruments as true equals, enlightenment ideals made audible. Schumann’s generous Piano Quartet brims with Romantic warmth. Caroline Shaw’s Thousandth Orange brings the conversation into the present with wit and invention. This performance is an evening of music that believes in joy.
