Friday Night Farm Jams
Starting Memorial Day weekend, in addition to continuing to offer delicious cider and local farm-to-table food, there will also be live music on the farm every Friday night through mid-October.
In order to support the musicians financially, there will be a $5/adult cover fee at the door on Fridays with the exception of two bands that will be a $10/adult cover. The regular menu of ciders, beers, wines, and cocktails will be available by the glass.
“Doors” open at 5:00 to get settled in one of the many “nooks” in the outdoor farm field. Plenty of seating is available and visitors are welcome to bring chairs or blankets. Live music will happen from 6:00-9:00 every Friday.
Jorge T. Cuevas & The Caribe Jazz Allstars specializes in danceable latin jazz originals and covers in the styles of salsa, mambo, cha cha, merengue, samba, bolero, & swing. Their music will inspire thoughts of sunny Caribbean seascapes, and hot swinging hips on the dance floor. Their style is a mixture of controlled and “on the edge of the seat” colors of improvisation and rhythms! Some part of your body will be moving! John White will provide his brilliance on the keyboards. Matt Clauhs will weave many colors with his sax and flute solos. Doug Robinson will provide the rock solid bass foundation that will allow everyone’s solo flights. And Jorge T. Cuevas will keep you on the edge of your seat with burning tempos and intricate rhythms on congas & cajon!
